Safe Buy Not Scared: Digital Parenting Decoded

Every child deserves a family - Concerned Persons for Adoption

“Safe but Not Scared” is a 45-minute presentation and discussion session designed to empower adoptive and foster parents in navigating the complex world of social media with their children and teens. This session will explore the unique developmental and parenting challenges that arise in the context of social media use, with a special focus on adoptees and foster children. Parents will learn practical strategies to help their children engage with social media safely while addressing the particular emotional and psychological needs of adopted and foster children. The goal is to equip parents with tools to foster healthy online experiences without fostering fear.
